I too saw Frampton a few years back at Atlanta’s Music Midtown Festival and shared a similar experience. I did not set out to see him, but there was no one else in that time slot and, after so many years, was finally able to forgive him enough for the “I’m In You” debacle that day to give him a listen.

He rocked pretty severely that night and surprised a lot more than me. Even the youngsters with their seventeen inches of underwear sticking out of the backs of their trousers were pumping their fists. The dude can play guitar for sure. Should’ve hooked up with some other cats after a decade of laying low and made a couple more records. Shame.

I’d see him again if the opportunity presents itself…
