I knew him when he used to DJ bars and clubs in New Brunswick NJ back in the early 1980s. The places would be packed because Matt was DJ'ing! So many of us heard so many great bands for the first time thru Matt. It's nice to see he's at a place that's right for his talent, and that amid all the steaming shit that's today's pop culture, there's still treasure to be found. Matt Pinfield is great.
